Est. 1924 · French Bistro
Candlelight, coq au vin, and conversation that runs long.
A hundred years of Parisian bistro cooking, poured by candlelight on Vintner’s Row. Slow food, honest wine, no rush to the door.
Our Story
A corner of Paris that never quite left.
Opened in 1924 by a family of restless cooks, The Old Bistro has kept its zinc bar, its bentwood chairs, and its refusal to rush a good meal. The recipes have barely changed. Neither has the candlelight.

Regulars Say
Kind words, said over a second bottle.
The coq au vin tastes like it was made by someone's grandmother in Lyon. We've come back every anniversary since.

Best steak frites in the city, hands down. The café de Paris butter alone is worth the trip.

It's the kind of place where the candle wax outlives the conversation. Slow, warm, unforgettable.

We host every family birthday in the back room now. They remember your order before you sit down.

Tonight, at The Old Bistro
There's a candlelit table with your name on it.
Tables turn slowly here. Book ahead, especially on weekends.
